CEMENT QUANTITY IN GROUT TAKEN

For CEMENT in BULK and using TRADITIONAL units

Sketch showing the whole injection process

This programme is intended for use with each measuring run of 10 or 15 minutes as recommended at "HOW TO GROUT A HOLE" in the menu at right of screen

The programme gives the quantity of cement injected in each run calculated on the basis of the volume of grout used from the agitator in the run.

The sketch shows typical grouting of a foundation. This comprises a number of measuring runs. For simplicity only one drawdown in the agitator is shown; in many actual jobs the agitator needs to be topped-up several times during grouting of a hole.

 ENTER DETAILS OF GROUT TAKEN DOWN THE HOLE:

WATER : CEMENT ratio (by vol)= : 1

Volume of grout taken = Cubic Feet

After entering these details, click on the CALCULATE button.

The amount of cement in this volume of grout is:

CEMENT= Pounds

HOWEVER
If a Report Form is used it provides an alternative to the use of this programme. It provides for the recording of the grout left in the agitator at the end of each run and automatically calculates the cement used and totals it up.
Links to Report Forms are provided in the menu in the right hand column of the screen under the heading "DOCUMENTING".
