SELECT HERE THE TYPE OF BATCHING YOU REQUIRE:-
To make a NEW MIX when there is no grout in the lines or machinery. This is the usual situation at the start of a day's work
To THICKEN grout which is already in the lines and machinery. This is a frequent operation during grouting of a hole when a change to thicker grout is needed as part of the grouting technique, or leaks are being attended to or rock movement is being handled.
To
THIN grout in the lines and machinery. This is usually required at the
conclusion of grouting a hole and when preparing to start another.
And a companion operation to batching is
CALCULATION of the AMOUNT of CEMENT injected in the grouting of
each hole. This is necessary for determining payment quantities and for thorough monitoring of progress in
the grouting of the hole. It, also, is dealt with in this programme.
PLEASE NOTE that these quantities apply to the recommended arrangement of circulation line, where the line returns to the agitator. The thickening and thinning quantities can be incorrect if a return is not used.
These programmes provide for all the common variations in cement supply; they may be downloaded free. It is unlikely that more than one type of supply will be required for a particular job, so downloading will only be required for that type. To assist in downloading FILE LIST gives those files which apply to the particular type of cement supply dealt with here.
