Quantities for various sizes of make-up batches are shown below. The thickened mix can be obtained by making one of them and adding it to the grout currently in the gear.
Choose an appropriate size of make-up mix and put the cement and water in the mixer and mix thoroughly. Note that mixes for this operation are appreciably thicker than those which will result; some mixers might not be able to handle such thick mixes. In this case, choice of one of the larger mixes could be a remedy.
