SIMULATED SITUATIONS
This shows the situations dealt with here. Make your choice. Note that you can come back here at any time to try different ones or to repeat some already done.
If this is your first foray into these options, you should choose the first one and then go to others afterwards. This is because the first option gives the greatest amount of detail and comment. It provides an introduction.
Choose between:-
a fairly AVERAGE, well behaved hole or,.
a hole where the cracks are nearly too FINE to accept grout or,
a hole where the water testing indicates that the grout take will be relatively LARGE.
On a personal note, I would like to mention that expansion of this is intended, as infirmity permits, to write simulations for other situations such as those listed below:
- a hole which is thought to be easy to grout, but isn't or,
- a hole where the cracks are very wide and accept grout very rapidly or,
- a hole where rock moves during grouting or,
- a hole with many leaks and/or connections to other holes
